We leave the stables heading west. We make our first stop after 8.5km at the 13th century monastery of Zoodohou Pigi. Half an hour later we get back on the horses heading south towards the impressive gorge of Tripiti. The variation of the landscape throughout the gorge down to the beach is phenomenal. Between the high steep walls we come across the first human settlement in Europe (6500BC) at the location of Adami Korfali, 20 minutes from the beach. We have a 3-hour stop to eat, relax and swim.
