Hiking is the best way for someone to discover an unknown place and the area of Kapetaniana and Asterousia is full of scattered trails leading to caves, monasteries, hermitages and secluded bights, trails which cross canyons and lead to unseen places of extraordinary beauty. The ascent to Kofinas and the trail that connects Agios Ioannis and the monastery of Koudoumas is just the beginning. We recommend a total of 10 marked trails for beginners and experienced hikers.
