The church of Panagia is the only building that survives today and in fact, in perfect condition from the monastery of Kyrie Eleison which was the forerunner of the settlement of Kapetaniana.
In the church you can admire the unique wall paintings of the so-called Idealist School, created by hagiographers of Constantinople in 1402 and which formed the basis for the creation of the famous Cretan School.
